UV reflective roads and roofs
Asphalt heats up cities unnecessarily
"Black" asphalt has an albedo of 0.1. 10% of
the sun's rays are reflected, 90% are converted into heat. Elderly people and
children in particular suffer from the heat of urban heat islands. Dogs burn
their paws.
The asphalt surface layers are thermally relieved, the
ambient temperatures become cooler.
Roofs that reflect like glaciers
Roofs heat up at high temperatures. Black roof bitumen
sheets have an albedo of 0.05.
5% of the sun's rays are reflected, 95% are converted
into heat. This heats up cities unnecessarily, air conditioners consume energy
and produce waste heat. The coating reduces the thermal loads of the bituminous
sheets, the rooms below are cooled down.
This is how it works

Reflects the sun's rays. The sun shines with up to 1,000 watts per square metre in summer. "Black" asphalt reflects only 100 watts/m², up to 900 watts/m² are converted into heat and stored in the street. Urban heat islands are created, from which older people and children in particular suffer. Dogs burn their paws. The CO2 heat load is 2 watts/m².
KlimaBond Road reflects up to 400 watts/m² on streets, squares and paths and compensates for up to 150 m2 of CO2 heat load.
Works like a glacier. The sun shines with up to 1,000 watts per square metre in summer. Black roof sheets reflect only 50 watts/m², up to 950 watts/m² are converted into heat and stored. Air conditioners operate at high power and generate thermal pollution.
The CO2 heat load is 2 watts/m².
KlimaBond Roof reflects up to 800 watts/m² on flat roofs and offsets 400 m2 of CO2 heat load.
KlimaPhalt generates evoporative cooling
